Responsibilities
- Defining project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities
- Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation – both internal and third party
- Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver project on budget
- Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Managing delivery of the project according to this plan
- Tracking project and providing regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders
- Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
- Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks
- Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and -potential changes
- Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures
- Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices
- Ensure regular project coordination meetings occur
- Provide proper project closeout
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as construction project manager
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction materials and methods
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
- Superior written, verbal, graphic and organizational skills
- Compelling problem solving and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, understanding of ACAD and advantage
- Fluency in Armenian and English
