Accounting Manager (Remote, 2nd shift)

- Team Management: Directly manage a team of four accounting professionals responsible for Accounts Payable, Transportation, Customs, and General Ledger accounting - Provide strong leadership by having the ability to guide, motivate, and inspire team members - Efficiently manage the month-end close checklist to achieve five business days close - Prepare and/or review reconciliations for assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP accounting standards. - Accounts Payable: Work with Controller and AP to set up payment plan as needed - Ensure sales taxes are accurately filed monthly - Ensure royalty reports are timely and accurately calculated and distributed to partners 30 days after quarterly end - Assist Controller in ensuring financial and tax audits are completed within assigned timelines - Other Adhoc projects as assigned

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance - Self-starter and proactive mindset - Ability to identify areas for improvement and take appropriate action - Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills - Communicate strategically and effectively at all levels, internally and externally - In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and accounting best practices is required - Experience with US public accounting is required - Experience with US financial and tax audits is required - Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop teams - NetSuite experience preferred - Strong attention to detail - Advanced proficiency in Excel - Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment is required - CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
