Lead QA Automation Engineer

- Define, implement, and manage QA processes to ensure product quality and reliability - Develop comprehensive test strategies and test cases aligned with project goals - Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using tools like PyTest, Selenium, or others, with a focus on Python (While proficiency in Python is ideal, candidates with expertise in other languages will be expected to work with Python as part of the role.) - Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable seamless testing and deployment - Conduct hands-on testing of backend systems and APIs to validate functionality and performance - Identify and prioritize areas for automation to enhance testing efficiency and reduce time-to-market - Lead and mentor the QA team, providing guidance on best practices and fostering a culture of quality

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with hands-on and leadership responsibilities - Proficiency in Python and automation tools such as PyTest, Selenium, or similar (candidates with other language backgrounds are welcome to apply, provided they are comfortable working with Python) - Strong experience with backend automation testing and web-based architectures - Proven track record of integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines - Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and resolution - Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience leading QA initiatives in cross-functional teams - Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on technical contributions - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
