Application Support Intern

- Collaborate with account teams to strategize the deployment of IC design, simulation, verification, and place-and-route (P&R) workflows - Communicate effectively with product teams to ensure smooth deployment and address customer requests promptly - Provide day-to-day support for IC design tools and their integration with other Siemens simulation, verification, and P&R solutions - Respond promptly to customer inquiries and support tickets - Diagnose software-related issues and bugs related to IC design tools and offer effective resolutions or workarounds for customers - Document resolutions and contribute to the knowledge base to enhance the support experience - Create instructional videos and participate in webinars to support user training and documentation

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field - Experience in the semiconductor industry or physical design - Preferred hands-on experience with EDA tools such as S-Edit, L-Edit, Calibre DRC, Calibre LVS, AFS, SDE, and Aprisa - Any programming experience is a plus - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and cross-functional teams
