Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Respond to and resolve user inquiries and issues Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network problems
- Incident Logging: Record, track, and document the resolution process for each issue in the ticketing system
- Equipment Setup: Assist with the setup and configuration of desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
- Account Management: Perform tasks such as password resets, account creations, and permission changes
- System Monitoring: Monitor IT systems and escalate issues to senior staff when necessary
- Documentation: Maintain knowledge base articles and technical documentation for end-users
- Customer Service: Provide a high level of support
Required Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role (internships included)
- Good understanding of Windows/Mac and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with common productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, email clients)
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS)
- Experience 0with ticketing systems is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
- Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills
