Responsibilities
- Developing and managing the Bank's Project portfolio based on the strategic priorities
- Management of strategic projects and their implementation based on predefined requirements
- Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, timelines, resources, business case and deliverables
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure successful project outcomes
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing needs
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial goals
.- Ensure projects comply with banking regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies
- Assign tasks, set deadlines, and track progress to ensure team members are meeting their goals
- Facilitate effective communication within the project team and with other stakeholders
- Prepare and present project status reports, proposals, and documentation to stakeholders and senior management
Required Qualifications
- At least Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or in a technical field. PMP, - PfMP, PMI-ACP or PMO-CP certification is highly preferred
- Experience in managing project portfolio, setting priorities based on strategic goals
- At least 2-3 years of project management experience in the banking or financial services industry
- Experience in projects of Waterfall and hybrid life cycle types. Knowledge in agile framework and scrum methodology
- Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
- Proficiency in project management information systems and tools (e.g., JIRA, Wrike).
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work under time restrictions and pressure
- Problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to changing priorities and great willingness and will to learn new things
- Excellent knowledge of Armenian, and good knowledge of Russian and English
- Experience with core banking systems, digital transformation projects, and regulatory compliance will be considered as an advantage
- Effective teamworking skills and a sense of responsibility and punctuality
- Work experience in the banking sector will be considered as an advantage
