Responsibilities
- Architect, build and maintain scalable and efficient data systems
- Develop automated data workflows and scripts for ELT and(or) ETL
- Perform complex data analysis to derive insights and support decision-making
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for various stakeholders
- Design and implement data models to support business intelligence and analytics
- Evaluate and implement tools and technologies that enhance data processing and analysis capabilities
- Lead data analytics projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and IT staff
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior data analytics engineers and data analysts
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for data systems, processes, and analyses
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability across various data sources and platforms.
Required Qualifications
- BSc or higher degree in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or in a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a data analyst / data analytics engineer
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Proficiency in Python and SQL (preferably PL/SQL) for data analytics
- Experience with databases/data warehouses such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Redshift
- Hands-on experience with common software development flows and tools
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with a passion for leveraging data and analytics to drive business strategy and decision-making
- Experience with dbt is a big plus
- Experience in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques is a plus
- Fluency in English is a plus
