Mid HW Test Engineer

- Develop comprehensive test databases for a variety of hardware products, including embedded systems and integrated solutions with radios and robotics - Lead defect tracking through unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing to assist in failure investigations and root cause analysis - Work closely with the development team to understand product designs and derive effective test & measurement procedures - Implement and manage automated testing frameworks to streamline the testing process - Execute hands-on testing, identify defects, document findings, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues - Lead setup and management of hardware lab to facilitate electronics prototyping and RF measurements - Analyze test data, prepare reports on findings, and ensure consistent documentation throughout the testing process - Stay current with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in testing electronics systems - Proficient in developing and executing detailed test plans and test cases - Experience setting up and maintaining databases - Demonstrated knowledge of failure investigations based on industry standards - Familiarity with RF/radio protocols and testing tools - Experience with setting up and maintaining a lab for electronics test equipment - Knowledge of automated testing tools and scripting languages (LabView and Simulink, etc) - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Environmental test fixtures and standards - Excellent communication and leadership abilities
