Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance the bank's reputation and brand image - Align PR strategies with the overall business goals and marketing objectives of Inecobank - Identify opportunities for media coverage and proactively pitch stories to relevant media outlets - Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers - Serve as the primary point of contact for all media inquiries and requests - Prepare and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials - Develop and implement crisis communication plans to protect the bank’s reputation during emergencies or adverse situations - Act as a spokesperson during crisis events and manage communication with media and stakeholders - Monitor and respond to potential PR crises in real-time - Create compelling and engaging content for press releases, speeches, articles, and social media posts - Collaborate with the marketing communications team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding - Oversee the production of PR-related content, including videos, infographics, and promotional materials - Plan and execute PR events, including press conferences, media briefings, product launches, and community outreach programs - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event execution - Evaluate the effectiveness of events and provide recommendations for improvement - Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports on PR activities and outcomes - Analyze the impact of PR campaigns and adjust strategies based on performance metrics - Maintain a PR database and track interactions with media and influencers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations - Strong strategic thinking and planning skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in media relations and crisis management - Experience with content creation and social media management - Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams - Analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions - Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards - Creative and innovative thinker - Results-oriented and performance-driven - Strong leadership and team management skills - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
