3D Scanning Technical Specialist

- Participate in the 3D scanning process. Including capturing images, operating the Faro Focus scanner, and ensuring the equipment is safe from rain dust, wind, or other harms - Create high-resolution 3D models based on photogrammetry and laser scanning data. Including aligning images, registering 3D scans, 3D digital reconstruction, and texturing - Be involved in 3D model optimization processes. Ensure scan data maintains accuracy, consistency, and the highest quality possible - Make sure both source and processed data remain in a safe archive - Maintain workflows and processes used through the Photogrammetry-Laser scanning pipeline. (which will be trained on the job)

- Degree in Architecture, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields are preferred - Previous reality capture and/or surveying experience is preferred - Travel will be required occasionall - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - RealityCapture (Mandatory), Agisoft Metashape (Optional), Adobe Lightroom (Optional), Autodesk ReCap (Optional) Photography experience (mandatory) - Familiarity with 3D modeling , 3D data optimization, and offline rendering is a plus - Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and rectify inaccuracies in the scanning process - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team-oriented environment
