- Monitor exchange platforms, trading activities, and crypto transactions to identify suspicious or fraudulent behavior, potential security breaches, or compliance violations - Assess and evaluate potential risks associated with exchange and cryptocurrency activities, including market manipulation, money laundering, fraud, and regulatory non-compliance - Utilize monitoring tools, analytics, and investigative techniques to identify and investigate potential fraudulent activities or suspicious transactions. Collaborate with internal teams and law enforcement agencies, if required, to mitigate risks and take appropriate actions - Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and industry best practices, such as KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) requirements - Develop and implement incident response procedures to effectively handle security incidents, breaches, or other potential threats - Analyze monitoring data, generate reports, and provide insights on trends, patterns, and potential risks - Continuously assess and improve monitoring processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance detection capabilities and stay ahead of emerging threats and risks - Conduct training sessions for employees and stakeholders to raise awareness about security protocols, compliance requirements, and best practices in the exchange and cryptocurrency domains

Required qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, or a related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in monitoring, risk assessment, or fraud detection within the exchange or cryptocurrency industry. Familiarity with blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and related security challenges is essential - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and detect anomalies or potential risks - Proficiency in the English language is required - Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate monitoring, analysis, and reporting of suspicious activities or security incidents - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and emerging risks - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
